Northland Collaborative is offering The Living Coast: Understanding the Apostle Islands, a community course in the Apostle Islands, August 15 – 21. The course is offered in partnership with All Hands Sailing, which is owned and operated by Northland College alumni Brontë Gross and Sarah Szymaniak. Participants will live aboard a 36′ yacht, sailing from island to island and meeting with Northland Collaborative professors Tom Fitz (Geology), Gus Smith (Ecology), and Emily Macgillivray (History and Native American Studies). The course is limited to 6 participants and the deadline to register is August 1. The course fee is $2500 and covers room and board. More information and details for registration are here.
